The Rutledge Suite (Room 1) This Grand Room is the spacious master bedroom with 12' ceilings, hardwood floors, king 4-poster bed with arched canopy, antique Italian chandeliers, fireplace, sitting area, private porch and immense marble bathroom with three vanties, whirlpool and standing shower. Rate: $385-$585  


The Middleton Suite  (Room 2) This expansive Grand Room is named for Henrietta Middleton, wife of Edward Rutledge, and features Charleston artwork, 12’ ceilings and hardwood floor, king 4-poster bed with arched canopy, wetbar, fireplace and sitting area, whirlpool bath, marble shower, generous second floor verandah and outdoor sitting area. Rate: $359-$540 

The Laurens Room (Room 3) One of the Inn's premier rooms, this Grand Room has 12’ ceilings, hardwood floors, king 4-poster bed with arched canopy, fireplace and wing chair, triple hung windows, marble shower, large second floor verandah and outdoor sitting area. Rate: $330-$498

The Independence Room (Room 4)  This charismatic and intimate second floor room has 12’ ceilings, hardwood floors, queen 4-poster canopy bed, split baths (shower and vanity, commode and vanity). Rate: $190-$295 

The Wagener Room (Room 5)  This spacious first floor room is named for Captain Wagener, the mansion's owner during its extensive renovation in 1870. The Wagener Room has 12’ ceilings, hardwood floors, queen 4-poster canopy bed, bathroom with marble standing shower. Rate: $205-$310 

The St. Michael's Room (Room 6) This peaceful room has an engaging third floor view of historic St.Michael’s Steeple, as well as original heart pine floors, queen bed and sitting area, private bath with standard tub/shower. Rate: $185-$280

The Magnolia Room (Room 7) A third floor retreat with queen 4-poster bed with canopy, love seat, entry hall, spacious bath with marble shower and twin vanities. In addition, the room has original hardwood floors, and windows overlooking an 80 year-old magnolia tree. Rate: $185-$285  

The Jefferson Suite (Room 8) This romantic upstairs Kitchen House hideaway has a living room with cathedral ceiling, oversized original fireplace, wetbar and refrigerator, queen 4-poster canopy bed, single fold-out couch, marble shower and whirlpool, private screened porch. Rate: $320-$485 

The Christopher Suite (Room 9) The beautiful first floor Kitchen House suite has a queen 4-poster canopy bed, living room with double sofa bed, wetbar and refrigerator, huge original fireplace and hardwood floors, marble whirlpool and shower, and a large private porch. Rate: $330-$505 

The Orange Grove Room (Room 10) Terrace level room with standard ceilings, hardwood floors, king 4-poster bed, large wetbar and refrigerator, writing desk, sofa, gracious bath with whirlpool tub, marble standing shower, and terra cotta tile floor. The room is decorated with colorful grass cloth wallpaper and has a distinctly elegant feel. Enjoy an exterior entrance and outdoor sitting area. Rate: $245-$375

The Barbados Room (Room 11) Terrace level room with standard ceilings, hardwood floors, queen Caribbean sleigh bed, loveseat, wetbar and refrigerator, bath with whirlpool tub and marble shower, exterior entrance and outdoor sitting area. Decorated in a romantic tropical theme. Rate:$230-$345

  • The Inn accepts Visa, Am Ex, Mastercard, cash, personal checks and traveler's checks.
  • All rates are double occupancy. Additional person charge may apply.
  • State and local taxes will be added to final tariff.
  • Rate includes private off-street parking, bicycles, wireless internet access, generous southern breakfast, lowcountry afternoon tea, wine and cheese, evening sherry.
  • All rooms are non-smoking.
  • Children over 12 are welcome.
  • The Inn requires a minimum two-night stay on weekends, and additional nights during some special events.
  • Rates may change. Check the rate for your travel date when making your reservation.
  • Advance deposit required. Amount of deposit based on length of stay. Must cancel reservation prior to cancellation date for refund.
